Enterprise

So far I have had nothing but great experiences at Enterprise. Every time that I have been there I have been upgraded to a larger car and even been offered a minivan. Great customer service with a smile every time. Seems that Enterprise empowers their employees to make on the spot decisions which help you get on the road faster.

National Rental Car

This will be my first negative review so hold on for the bumpy ride.
National rental car oh where to start. Let's start at the check in counter, well it was dirty so I had no where to put any paperwork. Behind the counter was a rude and snotty little boy. Went upstairs to find a person which was not there and had to wait forever. Once he showed up he proceeded to judge me on the type of car I choose, all I cared about was good gas mileage. Got in the car smelled fine for now and was actually clean to a kids standard. Got in the car the next day and it smelled like cigarettes, so they did a good job of covering for the first few hours. The turn in process was painless, but when you don't care about anything then it would be.
So again over all National was a FAIL in my book.

Powerbag

For the traveler like me there is no worst fear then to have a phone or tablet that is running low on battery. One day I received a text that would change that fear. An infomercial had come on and they instantly sent a text to me that said you have to have this product, followed by the link.
I did some research to find the cheapest price which at the time was amazon.com, but had a concern about one of the specs on the website www.mypowerbag.com. It said that the backpack weighted in empty at a whopping 3 lbs. I needed to find a place that cared them in the store, with a little more research I found that BestBuy carried them in the store. Went to BestBuy and picked up the bag. I have no idea where they got the 3 lbs at because the bag only felt like a pound. Played with it and tried it on for size. Ended up purchasing the bag at BestBuy, having them price match amazon.com.
My powerbag has accompanied me on one trip so far. My only complaint is that I need a bigger battery so I can use it as the main power source when traveling. Other than that it made going though security a snap because of a dedicated laptop pocket. If you travel this is a must have as far a I'm concerned.

Fairmont Hotel Edmonton

I have been using the hotel pool and spa since November. Today I am trying the hotel bar. It is very high class and so far the service is grand. If you have the chance stay at the Fairmont, although I haven't seen a room I think it would be worth the extra money.

Autobell car wash

Today I brought my wife's car to get clean at the local Autobell.

First never pay full price, Autobell always has coupons of some sort online.

On this particular visit I had a coupon for a free underbody wash. However when I gave the coupon to the cashier the coupon would not scan. Forgot to mention that it was the first sunny day in a while so Autobell was packed. With the line to pay backing up the cashier called over the manager and he said the words I never expected "since your coupon won't scan I am going to comp your car wash today". They gave me my claim ticket and I waited on my car.

I would consider this excellent customer services when you give someone a 20 dollar comp for a 3 dollar option. They also threw on the double poly wax and tire shine for free.

Oh and the car wash was good too. They cleaned the inside and the outside of my SUV very well. It was also dry as a bone so no water spots later, which was nice. I hate driving off from a car wash and the first thing that happens is a trial of water rolls down the window. Would recommend Autobell to anyone in need of having their mudpuppy cleaned.

This blog will be the first victim of my critic powers as a new blogger.

Seeing that it took me a grand total of 5 min. To be up and running with my new blog I would say that ease of use is there. The fact that I am doing this on my iPad is also a big plus. I guess I might have something negative to say later when I try to upload a picture or video, but for now it gets a "good to go seal" from me.
